Two theorems about the corona problem is proved in this paper. The first is on the existence of analytic solutions for the corona problem on the bidisk \(D^2\), that is, for \(F\in H^\infty (D^2) \) (where \(F\) is an operator of pointwise multiplication by the matrix of infinite order) and \(0<\varepsilon^2 \leq F(z)F(z)^*\leq 1, \forall z\in D^2\), there exists a solution \(u\) belonging to the Orlicz-type space \(\exp(L^\frac{1}{3})\). It is the first result on bounded analytic solutions in the higher dimensional cases. The second theorem is a vector-valued \(H^p\) corona theorem on \(D^2\), that is, for \(F\in H^\infty (D^2)\) satisfying \(0<\varepsilon^2 \leq F(z)F(z)^*\leq 1, \forall z\in D^2\), the Toeplitz operator \(T_F\) with symbol \(F\) acting from \(H^p (D^2)\) to itself is onto for each \(1\leq p<\infty\), and an estimate for the right inverse of \(T_F\) involved is given. It is pointed out that similar methods can be applied to the general polydisk case to get similar results.
