Recall, that a pair \((\mathcal{F,C})\) of classes of Abelian groups is a cotorsion theory, if these classes are maximal with respect to the property \(\text{Ext}(F,C)=0\) for all \(F\in{\mathcal F}\) and \(C\in{\mathcal C}\). The main result of the paper (Theorem 3.1) states that if \(I\) is an arbitrary set and \({\mathcal P}={\mathcal P}(I)\) is the power set of \(I\), then there is an embedding from the lattice \(({\mathcal P},\subseteq)\) into the lattice of all cotorsion theories \(({\mathcal C},\leq)\).
