Variational principles for topological invariance entropy of semigroup actions (Q6098987)

The author considers a topological dynamical system defined by the action of a finitely generated free semigroup. Using the Carathéodory structure, he defines the concept of Carathéodory-Pesin dimension on an arbitrary subset and obtain Bowen's equation, hence showing the relation between the Carathéodory-Pesin dimension and the Pesin-Pitskel topological pressure defined in [\textit{X. F. Zhong} and \textit{Z. J. Chen}, Acta Math. Sin., Engl. Ser. 37, No. 9, 1401--1414 (2021; Zbl 1480.37031)]. The final result is a theorem providing a variational principle between packing invariance entropy and measure-theoretical upper invariance entropy.
