    Let \(\psi(x):=\frac{\Gamma'(x)}{\Gamma(x)}\), \[ J_a(x)=(x+a)^4\left[\ln\left(x+\frac12\right)-\psi(x+1)+\frac{1}{24\left(x+\frac12\right)^2}\right], a\geq 0. \] The author proves that the function \(J_a(x)\) is strictly increasing on \((0,\infty)\) if and only if \(a\leq \frac12\). Let \(\gamma\) be Euler's constant and \[ R_n=\sum_{k=1}^n\frac{1}{k}-\ln\left(n+\frac12\right). \] Then \[ \frac{7}{960(n+a)^4}\leq \gamma-R_n+\frac{1}{24\left(n+\frac12\right)^2} < \frac{7}{960(n+b)^4},n\geq1 \] with the best possible constants \[ a= \frac{1}{\sqrt[4]{\frac{960}{7}[\ln\frac32 +\gamma-\frac{53}{54}]}}-1=0.57027\ldots,b=\frac12. \]
