An o-minimal structure without mild parameterization (Q639649)

Here the author considers questions concerning the parameterization of sets definable in o-minimal expansions of real closed fields. The main result of the paper is the existence of an o-minimal expansion of the real ordered field \(\overline{R}:=\langle R, +, -, \cdot, 0, 1,<\rangle\) with smooth or analytic cell decomposition with a definable set without mild parameterization. The author also proves a cell decomposition result for functions definable in locally polynomially bounded structures introduced by \textit{G. O. Jones} and \textit{A. J. Wilkie} in [``Locally polynomially bounded structures'', Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 40, No. 2, 239--248 (2008; Zbl 1146.03023)].
