There exists the concept of algebra over a ring, which has been studied extensively in the literature. Recall from, e.g., [\textit{T. Hungerford}, Algebra. New York: Springer-Verlag (2003; Zbl 0442.00002)] that given a commutative ring \(K\) with identity, a \textit{\(K\)-algebra} is a ring \(A\) such that: (1) \(A\) is a unitary (left) \(K\)-module; (2) \(k\ast(a\cdot b)=(k\ast a)\cdot b=a\cdot(k\ast b)\) for every \(k\in A\) and every \(a,b\in A\), where ``\(\ast\)'' (resp. ``\(\cdot\)'') stands for the module action (resp. ring multiplication). The theory of modules over a ring gave rise to the concept of \textit{quantale module}, where one replaced abelian groups (resp. rings) with join-complete semilattices (resp. quantales) [\textit{D. Kruml} and \textit{J. Paseka}, Handb. Algebra 5, 323--362 (2008; Zbl 1219.06016)]. The above algebras over a ring then found their analogue in \textit{quantale algebras} [\textit{S. A. Solovyov}, Contrib. Gen. Algebra 18, 189--197 (2008; Zbl 1147.06010); \textit{R. Wang} and \textit{B. Zhao}, Fuzzy Syst. Math. 24, No. 2, 44--49 (2010; Zbl 1334.06027)]. Using some results of the already developed theory of quantale algebras (partly due to the efforts of the authors of the paper under review), the present paper provides three representation theorems for them. The first theorem is based in an extension of representation of quantales in terms of quantic nuclei (see, e.g., [\textit{K. I. Rosenthal}, Quantales and their applications. Harlow: Longman Scientific \& Technical; New York: John Wiley \& Sons, Inc. (1990; Zbl 0703.06007)]). The second theorem relies on a particular extension of embeddings of quantales into quantales of endomorphisms of a join-complete semilattice (see, e.g., [\textit{J. Paseka} and \textit{D. Kruml}, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 148, No. 2, 209--216 (2000; Zbl 0962.06018)]). The third theorem is ultimately an extension of relational representation of quantales of [\textit{S. Valentini}, Math. Log. Q. 40, No. 2, 182--190 (1994; Zbl 0816.06018)]. The paper is well written, provides all of its required preliminaries, and will be of interest to all those researchers, who are interested in the theory of quantales and their related structures.
