This work presents updates to the MaRDI Open Interfaces software package designed to improve interoperability and reduce coding efforts for computational scientists working with numerical solvers. The authors demonstrate a novel interface for nonlinear optimization by training physics-informed neural networks to predict viscous Burgers' equation solutions in practical experimental settings.
