We introduce PolyChopper, a novel scheme for splitting a convex polyhedron into a finite set of disjoint convex sub-polyhedra by cutting with a plane and adjusting intersection vertices to control complexity and quality. The resulting hierarchy of subdivisions is robust, simpler, and of higher quality than the original polyhedron.
