We derive duality-based $\textit{a posteriori}$ error identities for subgradient flows induced by time-dependent convex integral functionals using the Brézis-Ekeland-Nayroles principle. We provide a novel application of Fenchel duality to quantify primal and dual errors independently in terms of generalized Bregman divergences or localized time-space integrals, under general normal-integrand assumptions.
