We study a surface Stokes system on a curved manifold with nonconforming Crouzeix-Raviart element for velocity approximation and piecewise constant pressure discretization, stabilized by an edge-jump penalty term to restore coercivity of the bilinear form, achieving optimal error estimates in both energy and L^2 norms.
