We study the surface Stokes-Cahn-Hilliard system governing tangential flow and phase separation in viscous fluid membranes, prove global existence and uniqueness, derive higher regularity results for d=2 under additional smoothness assumptions on the surface, potential, and initial data, and develop a structure-preserving finite element method.
