We propose an iterative truncated SVD (iTSVD) algorithm for inverse scattering problems based on a nonlinear least squares formulation of Newton's method that estimates the effective rank of the Jacobian matrix after discretization to reduce computational cost by using fast random SVD reconstruction in the signal space, enhancing stability and efficiency.
