Killing vector fields of constant length on compact hypersurfaces
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: We show that if a compact hypersurface , , admits a non zero Killing vector field of constant length then is even and is diffeomorphic to the unit hypersphere of . Actually, we show that is a complex ellipsoid in . As an application we give a simpler proof of a recent theorem due to S. Deshmukh cite{De12}.
