Local singularities of chord sets
From MaRDI portal
A chord set is the envelope of a two-parameter family of straight lines connecting pairs of points on two smooth curves in \({\mathbb R}^3\). The author gives a classification of local singularities of chord sets, and presents geometric criteria for a chord set to have a given local singularity.
