Localization and duality of topological tensor-products
From MaRDI portal
The authors characterize pairs (G,F) of quasicomplete locally convex spaces, for which the duality relation \[ (G\epsilon F)'_{co}=G'_{co}{\hat \otimes}_{\pi}F'_{co}\text{ or }(G'_{co}{\hat \otimes}_{\pi}F'_{co})'_{co}= G\epsilon F \] holds, where co denotes the topology of uniform convergence on the compact sets and where \(\epsilon\) denotes the \(\epsilon\)-product of Schwartz. In doing this, they extend previous results of Buchwalter, Bierstedt and Meise and Köthe.
