Minimal almost convexity
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: In this article we show that the Baumslag-Solitar group is minimally almost convex, or . We also show that does not satisfy Po'enaru's almost convexity condition , and hence the condition is strictly stronger than . Finally, we show that the groups for and Stallings' non- group do not satisfy . As a consequence, the condition is not a commensurability invariant.
