Tldr This paper studies eigenvector deflation to accelerate the WaveHoltz method for solving the Helmholtz equation using both direct and augmented-Krylov eigenvector deflation schemes with efficient eigenpair computation and storage reduction via SVD-based compression. Numerical experiments demonstrate a significant speedup in iteration counts, especially at high frequencies.
