Numerical methods for static problems of elasticity
From MaRDI portal
The author deals with a covariant formulation of the equations of elastostatics in case of isotropic, homogeneous, linearly elastic bodies with infinitesimal deformations. Iterative numerical methods are presented, and conditions for convergence are put into evidence. No numerical results are given.
