Omega theorems for the twisted divisor function
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: For a fixed , we define the twisted divisor function au(n, heta):=sum_{dmid n}d^{i heta} . In this article we consider the error term in the following asymptotic formula sum_{nleq x}^*| au(n, heta)|^2=omega_1( heta)xlog x + omega_2( heta)xcos( hetalog x) +omega_3( heta)x + Delta(x), where for are constants depending only on . We obtain Delta(T)=Omegaleft(T^{alpha(T)}
ight) ext{ where } alpha(T) =frac{3}{8}-frac{c}{(log T)^{1/8}} ext{ and } c>0, along with an -bound for the Lebesgue measure of the set of points where the above estimate holds.
