On Monotonous Separately Continuous Functions
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: Let and be linearly ordered sets and be a topological space. The main result of the paper is the following: If function is continuous in each variable (""and "") separately and function is monotonous on for every , then is continuous mapping from to , where and are considered as topological spaces under the order topology and is considered as topological space under the Tychonoff topology on the Cartesian product of topological spaces and .
