On minimum interdependence principle
From MaRDI portal
Some multivariate distributions including the Dirichlet and allied distributions have been obtained by using the Minimum Interdependence Principle (MIP) and these distributions have been used to bring out the different contexts in which MIP and MEP (Maximum Entropy Principle) can be applied. In the discrete case MIP is applied to transportation and international trade problems.
