Permutation polynomials on symmetric matrices
From MaRDI portal
The author characterizes the general situation for permutation polynomials of symmetric matrices over a given field. Certain specific characterizations are given for such matrices over algebraically closed fields, for example. The paper closes with enumeration formulas for permutation polynomials over finite fields.
