Abstract: Using an elementary argument, we prove new fixed point theorems for classical elliptic complexes. We obtain new results for conformal relations and coisotropic intersections. We obtain theorems for the average intersections of families of special lagrangian and lagrangian varieties in certain homogeneous spaces.
The author considers new extensions of the fixed point formulae of Lefschetz type for differential complexes over a smooth oriented Riemannian manifold \(M\), based on the de Rham perspective for de Rham and Dolbeault complexes. In particular, some larger classes of submanifolds or even closed currents in \(M\times M\) are involved, and some geometries on \(M\) compatible with a suitable index form, are looked for.
