On stationary solutions of a nonlinear system of reactor dynamic equations with distributed parameters
The author analyzes a nonlinear stationary model of reactor dynamics with distributed parameters. There are obtained some sufficient conditions for the existence of bifurcation points in this system and there is studied the behavior of solutions in a neighborhood of the bifurcation points. It is proved the existence of countably many bifurcation points in the case of a homogeneous medium and there are obtained constructive estimates for the distance between the bifurcation points. Since nonzero solutions appear both to the left and to the right of the bifurcation point, unlike most problems of mechanics and fluid dynamics, where a bifurcation point plays the role of a critical force or critical velocity, bifurcation points do not play such a role for the considered class of nonlinear model problems of reactor dynamics.
