Untersucht wird in einem einfach zusammenhängenden Gebiet \(G\subset {\mathbb{R}}^ 3\) die Differentialgleichung \[ Tu=Lu-u| u|^ p=f(x,u)\quad (p>0)\quad mit\quad Lu=k(x_ 3)u_{x_ 1x_ 1}+u_{x_ 2x_ 2}+u_{x_ 3x_ 3}+cu, \] k(x\({}_ 3)=sign x_ 3| x_ 3|^ m\) \((m>0\), \(c=const.\leq 0)\). Dabei wird G mit \(G\cap \{x_ 3=3\}\neq \emptyset\) berandet von der glatten Fläche \(S_ 0: x_ 3=h(x_ 1,x_ 2)\) und den beiden charakteristischen Flächen \(S_ 1: x_ 1-1+(2/m+2)(-x_ 3)^{m/2+1}=0\) \((x_ 3\leq 0\), \(x_ 2\in [a_ 1,b_ 1])\), \(S_ 2: -x_ 1-1+(2/m+2)(-x_ 3)^{m/2+1}=0\) \((x_ 3\leq 0\), \(x_ 2\in [a_ 2,b_ 2])\), \(x_ 1+1|_ G>0\). Für das Randwertproblem \(Tu=f\) in G, \(u|_{S_ 0\cup S_ 1}=0\) wird die Lösbarkeit in einem verallgmeinerten Sinn unter Voraussetzungen \(S_ 0\), \(S_ 1\), f, m nachgewiesen. Dabei werden gewichtete Sobolev-Räume verwendet. Mit Hilfe der a-b-c-Methode werden a-priori-Abschätzungen hergeleitet, eine Folge von Näherungsproblemen wird gelöst, und diese Lösungen konvergieren gegen die gesuchte Lösung.
