For the equation \(M^*Mu+e(x,y)u=f\), where \(Mu=k(y)u_{xx}- u_{yy}+au_ x+bu_ y+cu\) \((M^*\) is the formal adjoint) the author states a nonlocal boundary value problem and proves the existence and uniqueness of the solution of this problem.
