Rationalized Haar functions with values 1, -1, 0 are used for solving linear delay differential equations. Several test examples illustrate the applicability of the proposed computational algorithm. The latter is a generalization of the algorithm given earlier by the author and \textit{Y. Kobayashi} [IEEE Trans. Circuits Syst. 33, 853-862 (1986; Zbl 0613.65072)].
