L'auteur montre que l'équation fonctionnelle, proposée par \textit{I. Fenyö} [Aequationes Math. 24, 290 (1982); Problem P210] \(f(xf(y)+f(x)y- xy)=f(x)f(y),\) \(f: R\to R\), a exactement \(2^{\aleph}\) solutions discontinues. On donne aussi une présentation géométrique du problème et puis une liaison avec la théorie des semigroupes.
