Gap-minimizing prices and quadratic core convergence. A correction
The purpose of this note is to correct an error in Theorem 3.4 of a previous paper of the author [ibid. 16, No. 1, 1-15 (1987; Zbl 0641.90021)] whose notation and assumptions we adopt. The error occurs in the last line of the last full paragraph of page 9, where it is asserted that \(\tilde h(a)\in g(a)\) for all \(a\in S\cup\{a_ 1,\dots,a_ m\}\). In fact, it only follows that \(\tilde h(a)\in\text{con }g(a)\). When this is taken into account, a constant in the statement of Theorem 3.4 must be multiplied by a factor of \(\sqrt 2\).
