Für beliebige Simplices im euklidischen \(\mathbb{R}^ n\) werden Verallgemeinerungen des Cosinus-Satzes und des Satzes von Pythagoras analytisch unter Verwendung einer alternierenden \((n-1)\)-fachen Linearform hergeleitet. Im Fall paarweise orthogonaler Kanten in einer Ecke wird daraus eine Quadratsummenformel für die beteiligten \(k\)- Simplices gewonnen, die für \(n=3\) schon in der vorstehenden Arbeit [der Autor, ibid., 37-38 (1991)] elementar bewiesen wurde.
