Representation of hyperplanes in generalized affine spaces by modules
Modules, bimodules and ideals in associative algebras (16D99) Linear incidence geometric structures with parallelism (51A15) Algebraization in linear incidence geometry (51A25) Ring geometry (Hjelmslev, Barbilian, etc.) (51C05) Abstract geometries with parallelism (51D15) Affine analytic geometry (51N10)
The authors consider a very general sort of affine spaces consisting of points and lines with parallelism and an independence relation. They prove that any hyperplane which satisfies a weak additional condition can be coordinatized by a module.
