A Banach algebra version of the Livsic theorem
General groups of measure-preserving transformations and dynamical systems (37A15) Algebraic ergodic theory, cocycles, orbit equivalence, ergodic equivalence relations (37A20) Dynamics induced by group actions other than (mathbb{Z}) and (mathbb{R}), and (mathbb{C}) (37C85) Uniformly hyperbolic systems (expanding, Anosov, Axiom A, etc.) (37D20) Measures, integration, derivative, holomorphy (all involving infinite-dimensional spaces) (46G99) Topological algebras, normed rings and algebras, Banach algebras (46H99)
The authors extend the techniques used to study cocycles with values in Lie groups, and with values in diffeomorphism groups to Banach algebra valued cocycles over Anosov actions. Results of this type are necessary for the study of extensions of Anosov group actions on infinite dimensional manifolds.
