Buckling of nano-fibre reinforced composites: a re-examination of elastic buckling
From MaRDI portal
(Redirected from Publication:1601703)
This paper discusses elastic buckling of layered/fibre reinforced composites and examines shear and transverse modes of failure. A model is developed which determines the fibre concentration at which the transition between the two regions occurs. Numerical experiments are performed and compared with Rosen solution.
