Abstract: In previous work by Beer and Levi [8, 9], the authors studied the oscillation of a function between metric spaces and at a nonempty subset of , defined so that when , we get , where denotes the classical notion of oscillation of at the point . The main purpose of this article is to formulate a general joint continuity result for valid for continuous functions.
