Abstract: In this paper, it is shown that, for any equidimensional map-germ , the map-germ defined by is always a frontal; where is a function-germ and is the Jacobian-determinant of . Moreover, it is also shown that when the multiplicity of is less than or equal to , any frontal constructed from must be -equivalent to a frontal of the above form.
