The Nikishin system is a collection of Markov (Stieltjes) functions defined by a recursive integral transform (of Markov type). The author has studied the simultaneous Hermite-Padé approximation, a matrix approximations to the above systems. He obtained some asymptotic formulas for polynomials of matrix Hermite-Padé approximation.
