On the error estimate of \(h\)-convergence in quadrilateral elements

This paper studies the error estimate of \(h\)-convergence when the finite element method is carried out with quadrilateral elements. In a very rigorous manner the authors prove a useful estimate for such a finite element method approximating the weak solution of a linear elliptic boundary value problem.
