Abstract: For the split group G2 defined over mathbbZ, we show that the de Rham cohomology ring of B(G2)mathbbF2 is isomorphic to the singular cohomology ring with mathbbF2-coefficients of B(G2)mathbbC. For the spin groups extrmSpin(n) defined over mathbbZ, we show that the de Rham cohomology ring of BextrmSpin(n)mathbbF2 is isomorphic to the singular cohomology ring with mathbbF2-coefficients of BextrmSpin(n)mathbbC for nleq10. For n=11, we make a full computation of the de Rham cohomology ring of BextrmSpin(11)mathbbF2, which is not isomorphic to the singular cohomology ring with mathbbF2-coefficients of BextrmSpin(11)mathbbC. We also show that the Hodge spectral sequence for BGmathbbF2 degenerates for all of the groups G mentioned above.
