Abstract: We study the asymptotic large time behavior of singular solutions of the fast diffusion equation in in the subcritical case , . Firstly, we prove the existence of singular solution of the above equation that is trapped in between self-similar solutions of the form of , , with initial value satisfying for some constants and , where , and the self-similar profile satisfies the elliptic equation Delta f^m+alpha f+eta xcdot
abla f=0quad mbox{in } with and for some constants . When , under an integrability condition on the initial value of the singular solution , we prove that the rescaled function ilde u(y, au):= t^{,alpha} u(t^{,eta} y,t),quad{ au:=log t}, converges to some self-similar profile as .
