Abstract: We construct a purely unrectifiable set of finite -measure in every infinite dimensional separable Banach space whose image under every has positive Lebesgue measure. This demonstrates completely the failure of the Besicovitch-Federer projection theorem in infinite dimensional Banach spaces.
