Abstract: Let Omega be a convex domain in the complex plane mathbbC with Omegaot=mathbbC, and P be a conformal map of the unit disk mathbbD onto Omega. Let mathcalFOmega be the class of analytic functions g in mathbbD with g(mathbbD)subsetOmega, and H1infty(mathbbD) be the closed unit ball of the Banach space Hinfty(mathbbD) of bounded analytic functions omega in mathbbD, with norm |omega|infty=supzinmathbbD|omega(z)|. Let for . For each fixed z0inmathbbD, j=1,0,1,2,ldots and c=(c0,c1,ldots,cn)inmathcalC(n), we use the Schur algorithm to determine the region of variability VOmegaj(z0,c)=int0z0zj(g(z)g(0)),dz:ginmathcalFOmega;extwith;(P1circg)(z)=c0+c1z+cdots+cnzn+cdots. We also show that for and cinextrmInt,mathcalC(n), VOmegaj(z0,c) is a convex closed Jordan domain, which we determine by giving a parametric representation of the boundary curve partialVOmegaj(z0,c).
