Abstract: Let F be a local non-archimedean field and mathcalOF its ring of integers. Let Omega be a Bernstein component of the category of smooth representations of GLn(F), let (J,lambda) be a Bushnell-Kutzko Omega-type, and let mathfrakZOmega be the centre of the Bernstein component Omega. This paper contains two major results. Let sigma be a direct summand of mathrmIndJGLn(mathcalOF)lambda. We will begin by computing mathrmcextIndGLn(mathcalOF)GLn(F)sigmaotimesmathfrakZOmegakappa(mathfrakm), where kappa(mathfrakm) is the residue field at maximal ideal mathfrakm of mathfrakZOmega, and the maximal ideal mathfrakm belongs to a Zariski-dense set in mathrmSpec:mathfrakZOmega. This result allows us to deduce that the endomorphism ring mathrmEndGLn(F)(mathrmcextIndGLn(mathcalOF)GLn(F)sigma) is isomorphic to mathfrakZOmega, when sigma appears with multiplicity one in mathrmIndJGLn(mathcalOF)lambda.
