Abstract: We consider the Helmholtz equation Deltau+V,ulambda,u=f on mathbbRn where the potential V:mathbbRnomathbbR is constant on each of the half-spaces mathbbRn1imes(infty,0) and mathbbRn1imes(0,infty). We prove an LpLq-Limiting Absorption Principle for frequencies lambda>max,V with the aid of Fourier Restriction Theory and derive the existence of nontrivial solutions of linear and nonlinear Helmholtz equations.
