Abstract: We define a reduced -operad to be -connected if the spaces , of -ary operations, are -connected for all . Let and be two reduced -operads. We prove that if is -connected and is -connected, then their Boardman-Vogt tensor product is -connected. We consider this to be a natural -categorical generalization of the classical Eckmann-Hilton argument.
