Abstract: Let and be two sequences of nonnegative integers in nonincreasing order and with the same sum, and let be the class of all -matrices having row sum and column sum . For a positive integer , the -term rank of a -matrix is defined as the maximum number of 's in with at most one in each column, and at most 's in each row. In this paper, we address conditions for the existence of a matrix in a class that realizes all the minimum -term ranks, for .
