Abstract: The group algebras of the generalized quaternion groups over fields which contain , are deformed to separable -algebras . The dimensions of the simple components of over the algebraic closure , and those of over are the same, yielding strong solutions of the Donald-Flanigan conjecture for the generalized quaternion groups.
