Abstract: Let denote the (real) -dimensional Euclidean space. It is not known whether an equilateral set in the sum of and , denoted here as , has maximum size at least for all pairs of and . We show, via some explicit constructions of equilateral sets, that this holds for all , as well as some other instances.
