On the strong unique continuation property of a degenerate elliptic operator with Hardy-type potential

otag end{align} This extends some of the previous results obtained in [G] for this subfamily of Baouendi-Grushin operators. As corollaries, we obtain new unique continuation properties for solutions to [ Delta_{mathbb{H}} u = Vu ] with certain symmetries as expressed in (1.6) where corresponds to the sub-Laplacian on the Heisenberg group .
This paper is concerned with the strong continuation property for solution of the following elliptic equation: \[ \Delta_z u+|z|^2\partial^2_t u=Vu,\quad(z,t)\in \mathbb{R}^N\times \mathbb{R}, \] where the potential \(V\) satisfies some growth conditions. As a particular case, the authors obtain a new unique continuation property for solution of differential equations involving sub-Laplacians on the Heisenberg group \(\mathbb{H}^n\).
