Abstract: For a frame , let be the Esakia space of . We identify a special subset of consisting of nuclear points of , and prove the following results: is spatial iff is dense in . If is spatial, then is spatial iff is weakly scattered. If is spatial, then is boolean iff is scattered. As a consequence, we derive the well-known results of Beazer and Macnab [1979], Simmons [1980], Niefield and Rosenthal [1987], and Isbell [1972].
