Abstract: We show that if a compact connected n-dimensional manifold M has a conformal class containing two non-homothetic metrics g and ildeg=e2varphig with non-generic holonomy, then after passing to a finite covering, either n=4 and (M,g,ildeg) is an ambik"ahler manifold, or nge6 is even and (M,g,ildeg) is obtained by the Calabi Ansatz from a polarized Hodge manifold of dimension n2, or both g and ildeg have reducible holonomy, M is locally diffeomorphic to a product M1imesM2imesM3, the metrics g and ildeg can be written as g=g1+g2+e2varphig3 and ildeg=e2varphi(g1+g2)+g3 for some Riemannian metrics gi on Mi, and varphi is the pull-back of a non-constant function on M2.
